We have been testing speeds with various websites for drupal 7 hosted by green geeks servers for over two years now. Green geeks started out in the middle of our list as it was a decent hosting provider, mixed with relatively good cost structure and a "clean" alternative for the mother earth conscious.
Throughout the two years we have been continuing to test performance, we have had a few hosting companies drop off of their performance and others continue to rise. Greengeeks above all other hosts has risen as our favorite host.
Installed drupal 7 on this green geeks server. Did not have any issues during installation and software seems to be up and running very quickly. If you are concerned about how well green geeks will handle drupal 7, here is a clean demonstration of their servers running drupal 7. Please feel free to do testing needed.
